We would like to invite you to the Tree for Recyclables environmental event on 20 April, where we have prepared lots of activities together with the Dziennik Bałtycki, the Shelter for Plants.
From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., bring your electro-waste or waste paper and pick up a seedling. We look forward to seeing you in the car park at Media Markt.
In addition, there will be super treats waiting for you!

- Gardening tips with a gardener. How to take care of our plants, how to nurture them
- Meeting with the herbalist, herbs in our environment, honey plants
- Young experts advise - animations prepared by the gardening school
- Workshops - decorating bee houses together
- Workshops - how to arrange a garden, preparing flowerbeds, learning how to compose flowers and select species
- Relaxation area
We also invite you to ECoSpace:
- 11:00 Lecture and advice: house and balcony plants
- Replanting workshops at 12:00, 14:00 and 16:00 ECoSpace
- From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Plant exchange and adoption station - bring a plant you can no longer look after or exchange it for another one
You can sign up for the workshop on site, places are limited. During the workshop run by the Plant Shelter, each participant will be given two plants with different care requirements. During the workshop, we will select the right substrate for the species and plant the plants in a terracotta pot.
There will be a stationary plant exchange and adoption station from 11am to 5pm. On Saturday, you can come with your plant - give it away or exchange it for another one. In addition to the exchange, we will also be offering advice on care. From 5-6pm we will be giving away surplus plants we have left over. During this time you will be able to adopt plants from our station without having to bring your plant.
PLANT REPLACEMENT RULES:
- Those taking part in the event who donate a plant for adoption relinquish ownership of the plant and all rights and claims relating to it to the organiser for donation.
- The plant swap runs on 20 April 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., we will give away the remaining plants to those who are willing.
- We do not accept sick plants with pests.
- Participation in the exchange is free and no prior registration is required.
- Each person can exchange as many plants as they wish, by prior arrangement with the person manning the exchange stand.
- The rules for the exchange of dimensions apply.
