On Saturday, 11 May, from 10 a.m. onwards, the youngest cyclists aged 3 to 7 will once again be able to take part in a cycling competition in Matarnia and enjoy lots of activities!

The competition is open to children, whether they already ride a bike or are just starting out on two wheels.

The condition is that the child is enrolled via the registration form:

At 10:00 the issuing of starting numbers will begin, at 11:00 the youngest year groups will start.

The little cyclists will take to the start line in 'triathlons' and will have 40 and 60 metres to cover in a straight line. Each child will stand on the podium and receive a well-deserved medal. With us, there are no losers - every participant will be honoured for their effort and determination!

Young riders and young cyclists will ride distances adapted to their age:

• Year groups 2021, 2020 (3 and 4 year olds) - 40 metres
• Year groups 2019, 2018 and 2017 (5, 6 and 7 year olds) - 60 metres

But this is not the end of the attractions! In addition to the exciting cycling competition, professional animations and inflatables will accompany our little guests throughout the event, providing plenty of smiles and joy.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

• In order to participate in the competition, children must be registered in advance.
• Registration is open until 8 May at midnight or until the limit of places is reached
• Children compete in threes, according to age category and gender, with the youngest participants going first, girls first, then boys
• The competition will take place in the Matarnia Retail Park, at the car park next to Media Markt (ul. Złota Karczma 26, Gdańsk).
• Remember to turn up at the start line early enough. Numbers will be issued from 10.00 a.m., and at 11.00 a.m. the youngest three-year-olds will start
• Every child taking part in the competition must have their helmet properly worn. This is a safety feature without which the child will not be allowed to compete
• The child can have any bicycle, including a cross-country bike (unassisted)
• A parent may appear at the starting line with their child, but their presence must not affect the outcome of the competition.
